Accelerated Business Results (ABR) is looking for talented Instructional Designers and Project Managers to join our team! Instructional Designer

OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for writing and designing custom training content. The Instructional Designer works closely with ABR clients and senior leadership within their organizations to develop appropriate training solutions to meet business objectives. To be successful, this individual must have a thorough understanding of instructional design and sales performance improvement. 

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: 

  • Develop and implement training solutions to meet project goals
  • Design e-learning and instructor-led training solutions
  • Develop content for e-learning and instructor-led training solutions
  • Work effectively with all team members

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of instructional design experience
  • Formal education in instructional design principles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with the sales and service environment and sales process a plus!
  • Experience in the telecommunications and/or cable industries a plus!

 

Project Manager

OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for all project management tasks related to the design, development, and implementation of training solutions. 

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: 

  • Create project schedule and manage deadlines
  • Manage client expectations regarding project scope, plan, and direction
  • Develop and deliver timely, effective communications with client organization and all internal team members
  • Interact with all levels of client organization to build solid working relationships, assess training needs, secure active participation of SMEs, and solicit program support or sponsorship
  • Work effectively with all team members

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BA degree
  • 5+ years of experience in a project management role; experience overseeing training design and delivery solutions a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Strong organization and orchestration skills
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products and project management software ASTD/PMI certifications a plus!
  • Familiarity with the sales and service environment and sales process a plus!
  • Experience in the telecommunications and/or cable industries a plus!
